Here at gamefishingireland.ie we run a number of popular fly fishing techniques courses at different venues during the year.  There are courses suitable for both beginners and those wanting to improve their skills.

In 2017 we will have courses on saltwater fly fishing for various species particularly sea trout and bass, spring fishing for salmon, sea trout fishing (including night fishing) in rivers and estuaries, in addition to our ever popular match the hatch trout courses.  Details of 2017 Courses are featured on our Blog as dates are confirmed.  So far the following are scheduled for the coming year with more to follow:

1.  Stillwater Match the Hatch: Private Ponds, Wicklow. March 19th 2017. Fee €80

2. Stillwater Trout Fly Fishing Tactics: Ardaire Springs, Mooncoin, Kilkenny. March 25th 2017. Fee €65

3. Spring Salmon Fishing (beginners and improvers). Munster Blackwater River. April 23rd 2017. Fee €150

4. Saltwater Fishing (Bass/Sea trout): Dungarvan & Copper Coast (Weekend Course) June10th/11th 2017. Fee €350

5. Fly fishing for Seatrout by night and by day (with Ken Whelan).  Munster Blackwater and River Colligan, Waterford.  Weekend Course. July 29th/30th 2017. Fee €350

6. Stillwater Match the Hatch: Private Ponds, Wicklow, August 13th 2017. Fee €80

7. Sea Trout Fishing: River Vartry, Ashford, Wicklow, September 2nd/3rd 2017. Fee €150
